The following photos of the project are the day we moved the Corsair
from the Airport to the Connecticut Air and Space Center.
Today is Saturday, 04 October 2008. My big day, I'm moving to the
Connecticut Air and Space Center across the street.
My tow bar is hooked up and the tug will be here soon.
The tug is here and we will be on the move.
This is a big day for me, I am moving to the place where
they will fix me up, and I'll look good again.

This is the view as I leave the airport.
This is the same road all the new Vought Corsairs took
when they were ready for their first flight.
I have a tug escort with me. I guess I'm special.
Here I am on Main Street, traffic has stopped in both directions,
and the best part is that no one blew the horn for us to hurry up.
Here Roberto Cremel from Three Wing Flying Services is lining
up with the gate in the fence, as the gate is only
a few inches larger then me.
Here we are turning into the parking lot that will take me to the
Connecticut Air and Space Center.
Here we have a Stratford police officer making sure all is
safe with the traffic as we go into the parking lot on the way to CASC.
Here are some of the friends I have made over the years.
We're in the parking lot, and it's a straight run to CASC now.
Here we are in the backyard of CASC. The main building is on the right.
I'm almost in, out of the cold.
No more wind, rain, ice, or snow for awhile, but
less not forget the birds, the bees and their nests too.
And my wings too.
